Research Experience

2012-now Postdoc at the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS, Utrecht University. In the Vici-project of Prof. Dr. Jos van Berkum, “Moving the language user: Affect and perspective in discourse processing”, where I will investigate the interaction between language and emotion with several neuroimaging methods.

2011-2012 Postdoc at the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS, Utrecht University. In the Vici-project of Dr. Yoad Winter, “The logic of words”, where I work on semantic composition.

2006-2010 PhD student at the department of Experimental Psychology, Helmholtz Institute, Utrecht Universitys. Thesis: On the language of space: neurocognitive studies in blind and sighted individuals. Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Albert Postma, Dr. Matthijs Noordzij and Dr. Bas Neggers.
